Ofcourse, from a observer's point of view, the reasons why we watch music videos can be for a variety of reasons, some watch them to feel escapism and incorporate that, 'feel good' factor from everyday life, while others just watch them to see what the artist has to offer, such as, the aspect of spontaneity, for example, Lady Gaga is certainly a spontaneous artist, with her mind-boggling outfits to her outrageous dance routines, that is one aspect in which, the audience likes to explore and possibly emulate her style, fashion and trends.
