The function of music video is an obvious reason just to sell the artist. this is because its a chance for the artist to gain fame and fortune,also to help the industry in a way music video can cause sale of merchandise also concert. We feel that the music videos are important to the fans or to get to know the artist and their genre for example lady gaga who is world known for her crazy antics and costumes we know that the artist is not afraid to be who she really is and people support this and like to imitate her fashion style as the feel they want attention really that's what the artist in my opinion is aiming to do.
