Planning: Using 3 Music video that influenced our planning decision

As a group we looked at various of videos that can back up our plan and we found that there is a lot of music video that can be compared to our plan this an advantage as we know this sort of music video has a large audience so were not going to be unfamiliar and disliked.

First we thought this video was nearly a perfect example of our music video because of the M.E.S, camera work and editing also the narrative. Wiz Khalifa - Say Yeah, we can see from this music video that the editing jump cuts slow motion lighting effect and the "male gaze" tradition are all used in this video. Furthermore, the concept of visiting different cities around the world can be related to our song chosen "Its my city".

Secondly, this music video was liked by a group member who inspired us to why the music video can help us on creating our music video. They are UK London based group called Roll Deep, the song i would compare "Good time" the reason for comparison is the camera work as much as the M.E.S the bright colorful costumes and background as much as the part M.E.S like the balloons and the people that we had in mind but for obvious reason for picking the song would be that its party song and we are going to use some ideas to perfect our music video. For example we want to know how to shoot party like scene without it looking dreadful.

Last video that influenced us to make a this sort of music video has to be 40 Glocc ft many artist - Welcome to California. This is simple because of our audience and reputation we want from the streets "Street Rep" also the  lyrics on representing their city by editing M.E.S gives me an insight of how different locations in California are so we would like to do this with our music video by showing our "fans" from another region or country how London is like and how we like to party!!!!! ;-).
