Research for Music Video: Vernallis's theory

Carole Vernallis studdies that editing and camerawork in music, the edits within them where mich more frequent comapred to films and that they had a technique to stand out by using disjunctured editing, which try or keeps closely to a rhythmic basis connected to the song.

Venallis stated that continuity editing such in films or classical broadcast fiction are broken in order to draw attention, such examples could be of obvious edits as swipe and special effects and often jump cuts.

This video was done by Hype Williams which is a example of Vernallis's theory.
